Believe it or not some Arizona schools went back to school the end of July! I wanted to share this throwback Thursday “back to school party with a purpose” that I hosted when my daughters were little.

My friends from Anders Ruff designed this cool invite. We invited the kids and encouraged them to bring school supplies and/or backpacks to donate for less privileged kids.

The set up was super simple, a small table with a piece of fabric I found at Goodwill, added some juice boxes, apple sauce, snacks and some fake apples.

Think of easy snacks that kids love! I added them to this red tray with dividers. I printed tags from Anders Ruff as well.

Paper bags with printable tags were available for the kids to load up their snacks and goodies.

We had a separate table for all the donations and school supplies the girls brought.

And here they are!…. aren’t they adorable? Teaching them to share at a young age is always a good thing 😉
This party was from long ago, but Amazon has the cutest back to school party decorations to pull off something very similar… make sure you check it out if you want to stay on a budget 😉
