Starbucks-Inspired Brunch Celebration for Under $150
Who says you need a reservation at a fancy café to host a beautiful brunch? This Starbucks-inspired celebration was cozy, affordable, and filled with a little something for everyone all for under $150. I set up this in my friend’s backyard.
The best part? Almost everything came from my local grocery store, proving once again that you don’t need a huge budget to create a cute and memorable setup.
You can google free coffee party printables for something to match your theme.
The Menu 🍩☕
I wanted this brunch to feel warm, welcoming, and easy to recreate. Instead of complicated recipes, I picked simple treats guests could grab and enjoy while chatting.
On the menu:
- Powdered donuts
- Zucchini bread
- Mini cinnamon rolls
- Mini coffee cakes
- Hot coffee station
- Assorted hot teas for non-coffee drinkers
Not everyone loves coffee, so offering hot tea made the setup feel more thoughtful and inclusive. It’s such an easy way to make sure every guest feels considered.
Budget-Friendly Tips
One of my favorite party hacks is using grocery store bakery items and styling them beautifully on cake stands, wooden boards, or simple trays. It instantly elevates everything without the bakery price tag.
A few ways I kept this brunch affordable:
- Used neutral coffee-shop inspired colors like green, white, and brown
- Bought pastries in mini sizes so guests could sample a little of everything
- Used cups, napkins, and décor from affordable stores like Target and Amazon but you can also get free cups from your local Starbucks 😉
- Created a simple coffee station instead of a full catered brunch
Sweet Little Thank You Favors 💚
For a fun and inexpensive thank-you favor, I added little packs of Tic Tacs at each place setting. Tiny favors like this are affordable but still make guests feel special.
